Transfers and A New Greenie is Coming

Hello to one and all.

I hope you are having a wonderful day!! Today has been rainy and SOO cool! I love it. Such a nice change from the blistering heat we have been experiencing lately. (Wednesday got up to 40 degrees celcius!)

Well transfers....I am staying in Mikunigaoka (Osaka)!! Yay I am so excited! I am sad that I won`t be companions with Chavez Shimai anymore. We have all gotten along so great. It really has been a fun transfer working with her.

But I will be training a new companion which should be fun. I always love them fresh off the plane. They always have so much faith. SO great!

Well update for the week.

So Monday Y**** K**** called us and said that he wasn`t going to be able to meet until it was September. Dang it. But he said he wants to keep meeting. Just when it cools down....

Honestly the beginning of the week was a little rough with investigators...again. Idk why, but they all seem to be avoiding us...dang it.

On Wednesday we met with the mom we met at the park about a month ago. The one who asked if we could teach her daughter and their friends from the bible. She really made us excited and said there was going to be a lot of people there. Just her and her daughter and her daughter’s friend and mom showed up. I would be fine with that, except for they made it pretty clear it was mostly going to be focused on English. At the end of the activity I asked them mom when we could meet her again and share with her our message. She said, `maybe another time....` and literally ran down the hall. hmm....

So that was also kind of a downer.

BUT the good news that we do have is that we got 2 new investigators on Saturday! It is a FAMILY!! Well, a couple with 2 little kids. They were previous investigators from 2 years ago. But we called them up last week and they said they would be willing to meet with us again.

The couple with their 5 year old son and 8 month daughter all showed up to the church on Saturday and we got to teach them. Their kids are sooo cute! The parents are a little rough around the edges, but  during the lesson I could just see them coming out of the temple in all white filled with light. I can`t wait! It will happen one day. I just know it!

Saturday after our lesson there was a ward summer party. It was so fun! The members even bought us summer kimonos and dressed us up in them. And we get to keep them! Seriously so nice!! 

Well that`s about it for me for the week.
